I have a student in Piano Adventures level 3B right now, she would like to try some longer pieces instead of 1-2 pages more like 4-6. Do you have any suggestions for books that would have these types of pieces at her level?

Easy Piano arrangements of pop music are likely to be longer - sometimes too long! You might want to get her to work up to that length of piece - 6 pages is pretty darn long when you're used to 1-2 pages. I've found some students at that level just can't cope with pieces that long.

I often give students at this level a "project piece" for the semester. Pieces that have gone over well this semester are Fur Elise, Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca, Burgmuller's Ballad. Even my students who are more interested in jazz or pop music seem to really enjoy the thematic element of these pieces.

Also, movie themes such as Hedwig's Theme or Lord of the Rings tend to be about 3-4 pages.

Another thought... Sometimes the Faber series might only provide an excerpt of the piece, such as Rage over the Lost Penny in 3B. If my student is enjoying it, I show them the next page or two or the original work, and see how far they want to take it!
