I got this transfer student who was in Alfred Complete Level 1 for the older beginner. We're nearing the end of the book - and while he's been doing okay, I feel like he could use more reinforcement and supplementary materials.

I've already given him some of the Elementary Level Fearless Fortissimo pieces (from TeachPianoToday.com - Andrea and Trevor Dow).

Still, to go into the next "method" book....

Maybe PA 1....and start in the middle of the book?

Or straight into 2A?

Or - what exactly IS next in the Alfred Sequence for Older Beginners - after Complete Level One?

Opinions?

Thanks.

Okay, I think I'm closer to figuring it out, after having purchased Alfred Premier 2A and Alfred 2.

Thanks.
