Hello. I'm looking for an arrangement of "over the rainbow" that I heard. It sounds very "20th century" with chords that you dont usually hear in this song. Sounded like a fairly difficult piece with lots of cluster chords and other 20th century techniques.

Do you know of this piece and who arranged it?

Thank you.

*Lisa

My guess is that you want the arrangement by George Shearing. It was originally in The Genius of George Shearing Piano Solos EMI Feist Catalog.

The arrangement I have is in the Celebration Series (The Piano Odyssey) Repertiore 9 volume. This is from Frederick J. Harris publishing. (They have a website.) You can also purchase a CD that goes with the book.

I LOVE this arrangement!
